About
My real name is Sarah Newburn. I am originally from Lytham St.Annes but now live in Penrith, Cumbria. I started painting & writing when I was at school. I have created in one way or another all the way through from my teens to finishing Leeds University. Despite LOVING it I lost the time, or maybe mojo, when I moved to Cumbria.
I have finally finished creating my family (three kids) & have rediscovered this epic food for my soul after bringing down the guitars from the loft. After what felt like a lifetime of nursing all of with kids with chicken pox I wrote 'New Day' which ignited my need to create once again (writing not babies this time!)
I am 33 & in between kids, work & general family life I am fighting for space in the day where I can put aside time for me. Luckily, I have an ACE husband who lets me do my thing. Although I struggle to paint due to the kids/space I have thoroughly enjoyed writing.
Sharing things from your head & heart is a bit weird. It puts you in a crazy vulnerable place & is something I am not totally comfortable with but if I am going to put myself out there I need to, well, put myself out there.
So here, in this tiny corner of the internet, is a little piece of me.
My head, my heart & my truth.
Keep creating.
